Glossier is a cult beauty brand that has gained massive hype in recent years! Founded in 2014 by Emily Weiss, Glossier evolved from the success of Weiss’ blog, “Into the Gloss,” and grew in popularity due to its strong social media presence and direct-to-consumer business model. From Glossier’s millennial pink packaging to gorgeous color swatches, it’s easy to fall in love with their products. Keep scrolling down to shop my top five favorite Glossier beauty products.
1. Cloud Paint
Cloud paint is a gel-cream blush that is easy to use and comes in a wide variety of colors! Recently, I purchased Puff and Dusk. Both pigments give my face a healthy glow and are easy to dab onto the apples of my cheeks. They are also formulated with collagen and blurring powder pigments to hydrate and soften your skin! For best use, I’d recommend patting the blush onto your cheeks rather than rubbing. Also, a little product goes a long way as the formula is extremely pigmented.
2. Boy Brow
Since eyebrows are a cornerstone feature of your face, it’s important to pay extra attention to them. Inspired by a traditional pomade, Boy Brow is made with a creamy wax formula that helps to thicken, fill in, and tame your brows. It’s a great natural-looking alternative to your traditional eyebrow shaper. Boy Brow is also formulated with beeswax and carnauba wax, oleic acid, lecithin, and atelocollagen to moisturize and strengthen each hair fiber. I love how Boy Brow’s formula dries quickly and leaves my brows effortlessly full!
3. Haloscope
Haloscope is a dew effect highlighter that is infused with rose quartz, coconut and castor seed oil, and sweet almond oil. Since the product is full of moisturizers, I’d recommend applying it with your finger to avoid smudging your concealer or foundation. Use the tips of your fingers to tap the product along your cheekbone, inner eye, and cupid’s bow. This method will illuminate your cheekbones and add a youthful glow to your face!
4. Lidstar
This product might be one of my all-time favorites from Glossier! Lidstar has a gorgeous array of colors that compliment a variety of skin tones. I have olive-toned skin and decided to purchase the product in Slip and Cub. You can apply this product by using the tip of the wand, the center of the Angled Doe Foot applicator, or by dabbing it onto your eyelid with your fingers. The formula lasts 12 hours without creasing or smudging. In the photo above, you can see two color swatches of Lidstar. Slip is on the left and Cub is on the right. These two shades are very attractive and add a beautiful shimmer to your eyelid.
5. The Pink Pouch
Although you don’t purchase Glossier products for the pouch, it’s definitely a popular accessory! Check out Glossier’s Instagram story and you’ll see photo after photo of users with their pink pouch. These makeup bags can be repurposed as a purse when out and about. The pink is a beautiful shade and the zipper and bubblewrap help to protect any items inside.
I love Glossier and its millennial, cool-girl vibe. The brand is extremely aesthetic and is always coming out with new products to impress. Best of all, their beauty products aren’t irritating and blend seamlessly into the skin for an effortless makeup look.
