Founded by Jenefer Palmer, OSEA is a vegan, cruelty free, and certified organic skincare company that offers a wide variety of beauty essentials. From OSEA’s glass casing to its plant-based ingredients, the company has dedicated itself to creating clean and minimalist skincare. In this article, I will review my five favorite OSEA products: the Ocean Cleanser, Blemish Balm, Hyaluranic Sea Serum, Essential Corrective Complex, and Sea Minerals Mist.

OSEA malibu mission

“We believe that non-toxic skincare is vital for long-term health, beauty, and radiance. That is why our products are powered by plant-based ingredients so effective they eliminate the need for harmful synthetic ingredients entirely.”

Best OSEA Skincare Products ❤️

1. Ocean Cleanser

I love the Ocean Cleanser! It’s gentle, hydrating, and doesn’t strip my skin like 99% of other products. It also smells amazing! Although I was an Indie Lee fan in the past, I had to find a new alternative after the brand changed the Rosehip Cleanser formula. Now, I rely on OSEA’s products to help tame my problematic skin while keeping it moisturized.

This daily seaweed gel cleanser does a great job of cleansing without stripping your skin. It is formulated with lactic acid, jojoba seed oil, organic seaweed, and lime, cypress, juniper and jasmine essential oils to gently exfoliate, balance oil production, and moisturize your skin. It also strengthens your skin’s natural protective barrier, which helps your skin protect itself against the elements.

2. Blemish balm

OSEA’s Blemish Balm is perfect for anyone who suffers from oily, irritated, or blemish-prone skin. It contains organic algae, mineral peptides and a blend of oil-balancing tea tree, rosemary, juniper, cypress and thyme essential oils to reduce breakouts. For anyone who is averse to traditional Benzyl Peroxide or Salicylic Acid, Blemish Balm is a great alternative! I use this cream after I apply the Hyaluronic Sea Serum. Between the two, my skin is left hydrated and moisturized.

3. Hyaluronic sea serum

If you are a big fan of hot showers, you need to make sure to hydrate your skin afterwards! Hot water can easily dry out your skin and aggravate skin conditions like acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Since my skin is very sensitive and prone to dryness, I use this serum immediately after I cleanse my face. One or two pumps of this serum provides great lightweight hydration for your face, neck, and decolleté.

The Hyaluronic Sea Serum contains hyaluronic acid, which attracts up to 1,000X its weight in water, and is formulated with three types of seaweed to strengthen your skin’s moisture barrier, including Gigartina Skottsbergii Extract, Undaria Pinnatifida Extract, and Macrocystis Pyrifera Extract. These red and brown algae are rich in antioxidants, polysaccharides, vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids.

4. Essential corrective complex

I use the Essential Corrective Complex as a spot-treatment after I apply the Hyaluronic Serum and Blemish Balm. This complex contains a strong combination of tea tree, white thyme, cypress oil, jojoba oil, and juniper oils to decongest your skin without drying or damaging its protective layer. Due to the roller ball application, a little goes a long way.

5. Sea Mineral mist

Last but not least, I finish my skin care regimen with a spritz of the Sea Mineral Mist. This travel-sized container is filled with sea salt, aloe vera, and patagonian seaweed, as well as saccharomyces, copper, manganese, and zinc mineral peptides to hydrate your skin. Although this mist isn’t a necessity, it’s a nice touch to any skin care routine.

The Essential Corrective Complex has been a game changer for me!!! This is already my second purchase. I’m 33 years old and have extremely sensitive, combination skin with an oily T-Zone and fairly dry cheeks. This oil seems to have balanced out my skin and has significantly minimized breakouts! It’s actually rare for me to have a cystic acne or any other type of acne. I use this all over my face, avoiding my eyes of course, before I apply my moisturizer every night.

Favorite products in small sizes. Easy to pack and so convenient when traveling. Cannot go anywhere without my ocean cleanser. Discovered the Undaria Algae body Oil by ordering this set. It is a great body oil without being too oily. Cannot recommend Osea enough. My skin hasn’t been this good in years.

These products made my skin feel so soft, hydrated and smooth. My skin tone looks better and my skin has a nice, healthy glow. I haven’t experienced any irritation at all. I’m looking forward to trying more of their products. The scents are subtle but pleasant.

Since 60 to 70 percent of what you put on your skin is absorbed into your bloodstream, it is important to use non-toxic products that don’t contain parabens, petrochemicals, or sulfates. Although OSEA is a little pricey, it is worth it to invest in quality skincare if you have problematic or sensitive skin. If you want to check out OSEA’s products, visit their website here.
