Black Velvet Coffee was founded in 2008 and opened its espresso bar in Mammoth Lakes in 2011. The mission of Black Velvet Coffee is to roast amazing coffees with excellence and consistency. To fulfill their mission, they primarily focus on roasting Organic, Rain Forest Alliance, Micro Lot, Fair Trade, and Direct Trade coffees.
Each month, Black Velvet features four coffees from various small farms. Each bag of coffee is roasted fresh per order in Mammoth Lakes, California at 8000ft. If you are staying in Mammoth, consider grabbing a bag of beans from Black Velvet to brew up in your cozy cabin.
